Asking our Pastor

Today we decided to ask out pastor to marry us.

Talk about a journey... how do you ask a pastor to marry you?
Well, first we wrote an e-mail to our pastor and explained why we waited this long since we've been engaged since April 2008. Then we told our pastor we were going to have my fiances uncle marry us. And now we're asking our pastor.

Here is the letter we typed as a JOKE...

"Dear Pastor:

We don't know how to ask you but will you marry us?
Our wedding date is August 22, of this year.
How much?
See you there.
Rick and Erica"

...A JOKE because we don't really know what to say... it would be interesting to hear what you all said when you asked your pastor or person to marry you and your fiance.
